one time when i was studying abroad i had to try explaining Pepe the frog to a couple of 19-year-old Japanese guys (long story) and while i was trying to calmly explain in Japanese about this fuckin shitty frog meme, all the Americans around me were just HOWLING with laughter and all this poor Japanese guy could conclude was that Pepe must be “the strongest”
